Amber is a specialist nurse at Compassion in Dying. She supports people through the free information line and offers in depth support drawing on her extensive clinical background to help individuals explore their health concerns, understand their treatment options, make informed choices aligned with their values and record their preferences for the future.
She is both a registered nurse and midwife. She has previously worked as a 999 clinical advisor for the London Ambulance Service and has a background in maternity, women’s health and primary care. She is also senior clinician for the charity My Body Back, where she provides trauma-informed clinical care to people who have experienced sexual violence and trauma.
Amber passionately believes in empowering people with their own health and decision making. She enjoys bringing her experience of working with people all the way from birth to death and ultimately helping people to feel in control of their health and their lives.
