Support for people living with Dementia

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has launched its Quality Standard on supporting people to live well with dementia.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has launched its Quality Standard on supporting people to live well with dementia. This quality standard covers the care and support of people with dementia. This document, which is aimed at health and social care professionals, managers and commissioners as well as patients and carers, details how support for people living with dementia should be measured across the NHS in England. This will inform how this support is delivered and improve services where necessary.

Compassion in Dying is an ‘endorsing organisation’ of the Quality Standards (i.e. Compassion in Dying contributed to and supports it).
