Promote patient choice. Become a Trustee.

Compassion in Dying’s vision is a world where each person gets the treatment and care that is right for them. We believe people should be at the centre of their own healthcare, making sure every decision is made by and for patients.

Our MyDecisions tool has simplified advance care planning in a few easy steps through an interactive online tool. The recent Make it Your Decision campaign encouraged people to prepare for the unexpected by planning ahead for care and treatment.

As we move into a new stage of our development, growing beyond a small charity and into an influential voice in end-of-life care, we are recruiting Trustees to join our team. We welcome all applications, but are particularly looking for expertise in the following areas:

  • Palliative and end-of-life care expertise
  • Fundraising or well connected to Trusts/Foundations
  • Health tech/digital background
  • Experience of public health or behaviour change campaigns
  • Good understanding of NHS commissioning
